The waiting game....
Today we are going to get furniture for the room and pick up a few odd's and end.
We are preparing for a baby shower for Feb 19 and we are registered at Target so far under Jen Lizer and Maria Vargas. Target is so PC that it allowed same sex couple registration.
We have new baby class for adoptive parents this week then later in the evening we plan on seeing the womens roller derby with Eric and friends. I never really thought about how lucky I am to have Eric so close by. I miss Angela when she was here....Maybe one day instead of Mom and Dad retiring in Mexico they would consider a summer home in Oregon and move Angela back up here.
Carla seemed to like Oregon too when she was here and if she got laid off she could move out here as well. That would be nice but then again would it just be a fantasy...
Oh well school starts Monday. I am taking three class for a total of 14 credits. Jen and I are working on a schedule so when the baby is here we can function.
With my schedule I will have Mondays off....Yahoo 3 day weekends.
I have the syllabus already and have begun to read ahead. Interesting topics. Mental Health is one class and I am sure going to get a kick out of some client interaction.
Peace out

The permanent Mexico retirement thing went out the window with little Misa. Picture the Foker's chasing the Mexico sun in winter while you guys drink your espresso's and wear your little beanies through the rainy season. Then, when the sun comes out in Oregon we can go north to our Oregon condo, where Eric, Angela and Misa can live on a year-around basis. All of this on one condition, everyone must become totally bilingual so mom and I can communicate with your young butts. Then, when you're tired of us, just pull the electric plug on our RV, we'll get the message, haul ass back down, and host you on the other side of the world.
In the meantime we'll have to resort to those inventions called the phone, airplanes, vacations and stuff.
I don't tell Angela what to do, but as she becomes independent she can vote with her airplane ticket, uhaul truck, or her family as things evolve.
Meantime, we're off to Target to get you a pallett of unisex diapers and leave the rest to you...changing diapers and lots of sleepless nights. Put that on your date/timer.
Hope your favorite team wins the superbowl. Last hurrah before parenthood. Go Bears.
Love, Mom and Dad
